This notice explains what personal data this website collects and why, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

What this site collects

This is a static website. It sets no cookies, runsno analytics, and loads no third-party fonts or scripts — both typefaces are served from this domain.

There are exactly two ways your data reaches us today:

• Server logs. Our hosting provider records the usual technical data for each request — IP address, timestamp, requested page, user agent — to deliver the site and defend it against abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• The mailing list. Only if you enter your email address and submit it. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

The mailing list

Your address is used to send you our early-access builds, to tell you when a new version or product is released, and nothing else. It is never sold, rented or used for unrelated mail. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by writing to us — withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.

Signing up uses double opt-in: you receive one email asking you to confirm, and you are only added once you click its button. To be able to prove your consent we keep a record of when you signed up and confirmed, which form you used and the exact wording you agreed to. Your IP address is used for a moment to stop abuse of the signup form and is not stored.

We keep the list ourselves, in our own database hosted by Cloudflare (see “Hosting and downloads”), and the confirmation email is sent through Cloudflare. Newsletters are delivered on our behalf byBrevo(Sendinblue SAS, Paris, France), acting as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR; your address is passed to Brevo for that when a newsletter goes out. Brevo counts how often our emails are opened and their links clicked only as anonymous totals — these figures are not linked to you or your address. Addresses are kept until you unsubscribe; the record of your consent and of your unsubscribing is kept as long as we need it to prove both.

Writing to us

When you email us, for example at hello@ or [email protected], we keep your message and our replies so we can answer you, follow up, and keep track of bug reports, including which bug you reported, so we can tell you when it is fixed. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering and supporting you, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or steps you asked for before a purchase, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Messages arrive through Cloudflare's email routing and are stored in our own system hosted by Cloudflare. To sort them (for example “bug report” or “question before buying”) they are read by an AI model that runs on Cloudflare's own infrastructure; no other company receives them for this, and nothing is answered automatically. A copy is forwarded to our mailbox at Google (Gmail, Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland). We keep messages as long as we need them for your request and any bug it concerns, and delete them when you ask us to.

Buying our software

The store is not open yet. When it opens, purchases are processed byPaddle, our merchant of record and the seller on your invoice, who collects the personal data needed for payment, invoicing and tax under Paddle's own privacy notice.

After a purchase, Paddle tells us your name, your email address and what you bought. We use exactly that to deliver your licence file, to re-send it if you lose it, and to tell you about the software you own — nothing else, and it is never sold or rented. Legal basis: performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Hosting and downloads

This site and our downloads are served byCloudflare(Cloudflare, Inc., San Francisco, USA), acting as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. Cloudflare processes the technical request data described above to deliver the site and protect it against attacks, hosts the database that holds our mailing list, and sends our confirmation emails. Data may be transferred to the USA; Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has found to provide an adequate level of protection (Art. 45 GDPR). We do not keep access logs of our own.

Our software

Our plugins make no network connections. They do not check for updates, send usage data or contact any server — a licence is a file on your computer, checked on your computer. New versions are announced by email to the mailing list and on this site.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
• have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16)
• have your data erased (Art. 17)
• restrict how we process it (Art. 18)
• receive it in a portable format (Art. 20)
• object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
• withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3))

If you believe we are handling your data unlawfully you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, Austria.

Changes

We will update this notice when the site changes — for example when a store or user accounts are added. The date above always reflects the current version.
